Perhaps not as individuals but as a group, as a party the Republicans are idiots. Now don't think that the Democrats aren't idiots and that probably goes down to the individual level in many cases. But for the most part the Republicans as a group, when they group together loose IQ points. Democrats just don't gain them. The whole thing about having primaries that are winner take all and having open primaries such as in Virginia, though that the Republicans just don't know how to manage themselves much less anything else. I'm very disappointed. listen
